How to Download Telegram Videos & Photos Online (Public Channels)

Telegram makes it hard to save channel media outside the app. With a post link from a public channel, you can download or watch it straight from your browser.

Step by step

Open the post in a public Telegram channel, tap Share and choose Copy link. It looks like t.me/channelname/12345.
Paste the link into the Telegram Downloader and press Get Download.
Check the channel name, caption and preview shown in the result.
Press Play Online to watch a video, or Download to save the video, photo or file.

Only public channels work

Private channels, groups, chats and invite links (t.me/+…) can't be fetched. If the channel has a public @username, its post links will work.

Photo instead of video?

Many deal and news channels post only images. A video player appears only when the post itself contains a video.
